Sir John Falstaff [Sir John Falstaff]
a character who appears in three of Shakespeare's plays, Henry IV Parts 1 and 2, and ↑Merry Wives of Windsor. He is fat, greedy, dishonest, often drunk, but always humorous and entertaining. He is one of Shakespeare’s most popular characters, best known as the friend of young Prince Hal in Henry IV Part 1.
